Couples looking for a unique experience

Our room was a breathe of fresh air , stylishly designed and cleaned everyday. The breakfast was quite diverse with lots of options , but the highlight was certainly how we could stream Netflix on the in-room Chromecast after a long day exploring.

It wasn’t inexpensive , but got my money's worth.

Rooms are very clean and well furnished.

Our experience was frustrating from the start. The service was severely lacking. we had to ask multiple times for new towels, and room cleaning was forgotten altogether on our first day. The air conditioning didn’t work properly, making our stay uncomfortable.

Nice clean hotel, comfy bed, and the vibe in that old bank vault for brekkie is just true lekker. Plus, the rooftop bar has amazing views, too! Staff were super friendly, definitely made me feel at home. Really enjoyed their different pillow options, too!

Only downside was the noise.

the rooftop terrace has stunning views of the city for sunset. the wi-fi was inconsistent in the room.

my stay at design plus was fantastic! the location is great, just a short walk to nearby restaurants open late. the room was lovely and spacious, and the rooftop splash pool was a perfect spot to relax under the sun. the gym had modern equipment, which I really appreciated.

The hotel's ambiance and thoughtful room design added a touch of charm, especially with the unique breakfast setting in the vault. While the rooftop pool could use more space, the location was incredibly convenient, only a short stroll to explore nearby attractions though the Wi-Fi in my room was lacking.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement

Enjoyed a week-long stay with family in a nicely designed room. The breakfast buffet stood out with its variety, especially the local options. The rooftop bar offered stunning views, but some service gaps in cleaning left us wanting more attention. A pleasant stay overall!

Charming hotel with a unique decor from its former bank days. Rooftop bar offers fantastic views, perfect for sunset. Unfortunately, the shower door didn’t close properly, which was a bit awkward. a nice stay despite this minor issue.

the theme of the hotel is super cool and really well done. loved the comfy deluxe twin room with its attached balcony, perfect for chillin. staff were always friendly and made us feel welcome. breakfast was a nice surprise, had a good selection and it was reasonably priced. the rooftop bar has amazin views, perfect for sunset!

only downside was the noise from the street and the shower door didn’t close properly. a bit annoying, but it didn’t ruin our stay.

I stayed in a Deluxe Twin Room for 4 nights. The room was clean and well-maintained, with helpful amenities like a coffee machine and kettle. The bed was super comfy, which was a nice plus after a long day. the air circulation wasn’t great, and I noticed some noise from other rooms. pretty decent, but could use a few improvements.
